Overview

Vag-ir Fish Tavern, located in Piraeus 185 33, Greece, partnered with UseCodify to create a traditional yet modern multi page landing website in Greek only. The objective was to present their seafood menu clearly, simplify table reservations, improve accessibility through maps and directions integration, and provide an easy way for customers to contact and locate the restaurant.

Client Background

Vag-ir Fish Tavern is a Greek seafood restaurant known for its traditional tavern atmosphere and authentic dishes. Serving both locals and visitors in Piraeus, the restaurant wanted a website that reflects its identity while making reservations, menu browsing, and navigation to the restaurant as simple as possible for customers.

Challenges

Greek only requirement: The website needed to be fully written in Greek to match the local audience and restaurant identity.

Reservation accessibility: The client required a dedicated booking page with a Greek table reservation form.

Easy navigation for visitors: Customers needed a quick way to get directions directly through Google Maps.

Reliable communication: A Greek contact form was required for enquiries and customer communication.

Clear menu presentation: Seafood dishes and restaurant offerings had to be displayed in an organised and easy to browse format.

UseCodify’s Solution

UseCodify developed a responsive Greek language multi page website using HTML CSS and JavaScript. The structure includes Home, About Us, Menu, Booking, and Contact pages. A Greek table reservation form was implemented on the Booking page and a Greek contact form was added on the Contact page. Integrated maps were included on both the Booking and Contact pages. To improve navigation, the restaurant’s Google Business Profile was connected directly with a directions button so visitors can open Google Maps instantly for route guidance.

The site really gives off that seaside taverna feeling in a nice way. The seafood photos, colors, and overall style make it feel warm and authentic without trying too hard. I liked how easy it was to check the menu and find the important details, especially on mobile. It honestly feels like the kind of place you’d want to visit after seeing the website.
