Introduction

Dodiexpress approached Usecodify with a request to develop a modern, bilingual website that would cater to both Polish and English-speaking users. The website needed to have several specific features, including a custom email system, functional contact forms, automated email sending, and a streamlined process for users to get free quotes. Our challenge was to build a solution that met these requirements while maintaining a user-friendly and professional appearance.

Solution

To meet Dodiexpress’s needs, we decided to leverage WordPress as the base platform due to its flexibility, ease of use, and extensive plugin ecosystem. Here’s a breakdown of how we tackled each requirement:

1. Multi-Language Website

We utilized the WPML (WordPress Multilingual Plugin) to manage the bilingual nature of the website. WPML allowed us to create and manage content in both Polish and English, ensuring that visitors could easily switch between the two languages. By using WPML, we maintained the integrity of the website’s SEO while offering a seamless experience for users.

• Custom Translations: All content, including pages, posts, menus, and custom text, was translated and optimized for both languages.
• Language Selector: A language switcher was added in a prominent location to allow users to easily toggle between Polish and English.

2. Custom Email System

The website required a custom email system that would handle inquiries efficiently. To meet this requirement, we developed a PHP-based custom email solution integrated into the contact forms. Here’s how it works:

• Form Submission: Users submit their inquiries or requests via contact forms embedded on various pages.
• Custom Email Logic: Once a form is submitted, the information is sent to a custom email address tailored to the nature of the inquiry (sales, support, etc.).
• Email Templates: Automated email responses were set up to confirm receipt of the message and notify the team for follow-up action.

We also incorporated SMTP functionality to ensure emails were reliably sent without being flagged as spam.

3. Contact Forms with Automated Email Responses

To enhance the communication process, we added a set of contact forms on the website. We used the Contact Form 7 plugin, which allows us to configure multiple forms, such as:

• General Inquiry Form: For general questions or comments.
• Quote Request Form: A form that collects the necessary details for a free quote request, which is sent directly to the sales team.

Automated Emails:
Each form submission triggered an automated email response thanking the user for their inquiry. Depending on the form (general or quote request), the emails were customized to guide the user through the next steps.

4. Free Quote System

One of the most important features requested by Dodiexpress was the ability for users to easily request a free quote. We developed a custom quote request form that gathered the relevant information (such as the type of service, delivery location, and special requests).

• Quote Request Form: This form was integrated into the website and could be accessed by users on various service pages.
• Automated Response: Once the form was submitted, an automated email was triggered, acknowledging the request and providing estimated timeframes or next steps for a personalized quote.

5. Design and User Experience

The website needed to be visually appealing while maintaining functionality. We chose a clean and modern design that fits Dodiexpress’s branding. The website’s layout is responsive, ensuring a smooth experience across all devices, including desktops, tablets, and smartphones.
